Big Howdy Partner – International Students Inc (www.utaisi.org) together with the BSM (http://www.utabsm.com/), the Wesley Center (http://www.utawesley.org/) and Cornerstone (http://www.utacornerstone.com/) is sponsoring a “Big Howdy How to Survive/Thrive in America” Seminar series. It is designed to help new and current international students navigate through some of the key things in living in America.
This will happen, Saturday, January 28, 2 -4:30 PM. We will meet at the BSM at 2 PM to get started and you can choose between two seminars which meet at all three ministry centers listed above.
Some of the Seminar Topics include:
- Writing a winning resume to have the best chance of landing a job
- How to Buy a Car – A seminar describing the process of getting a car, etc.
- How to navigate through the cultural maze by learning to understand other people.
- Campus Public Personal Safety Tips.
